Description

Modified-atmosphere packaging (MAP) mixtures made from food-grade nitrogen (E941), carbon dioxide (E290) and oxygen (E948). The composition is matched to your product: CO2 slows bacteria and moulds, nitrogen is the inert filler, oxygen keeps red meat red. Tell us your product and packaging machine and we propose a mixture – or send your own specification.

Applications

Meat & poultry

O2/CO2 with high oxygen for fresh red meat; N2/CO2 for poultry, cooked meats and ready meals.

e.g. O2 70–80 % / CO2 20–30 %

Fish & seafood

CO2-rich mixtures with nitrogen, or with oxygen for lean white fish, for a longer shelf life.

N2/CO2 or N2/O2/CO2

Cheese, bakery & snacks

N2/CO2 such as 70/30 for hard and sliced cheese; nitrogen-rich mixtures for bread, cakes and snacks.

Salads & fresh produce

Mixtures that let cut vegetables and fruit keep breathing: below about 1.5 % O2 or above 20 % CO2 they start to spoil.

Delivery

Gas cylinders are dangerous goods: we ship them on pallets with an ADR-licensed carrier within Poland and to other EU countries, or you collect them from our warehouse in Pabianice (Poland) by arrangement. The freight cost is part of the quote.

For business customers

We supply companies, workshops, laboratories, farms and institutions. Add your company name and VAT number to the request: the quote and the invoice are issued to your company.

Gas cylinders under pressure: store and transport them upright and secured against falling, below 50 °C, in a well-ventilated place. Inert gases displace oxygen – risk of suffocation in confined spaces. Mixtures with more than 23.5 % oxygen are oxidising: keep oil and grease away from valves and fittings.
