Argon with both carbon dioxide and oxygen: the CO2 gives penetration, a little oxygen gives a stable, fluid arc and good wetting. These three-component mixtures cover carbon steel from thin sheet to thick plate and are popular for pulsed and robotic welding. Mixed to order in four standard compositions, or to your own specification.
Applications
86/12/2: penetration and arc stability on carbon and low-alloy steel.
EN ISO 14175 M24
93/5/2 and 93/4/3: low spatter and low heat input in short and pulsed arc.
EN ISO 14175 M14
91/5/4: more oxygen for a fluid weld pool and high travel speeds.
EN ISO 14175 M23

Delivery
Gas cylinders are dangerous goods: we ship them on pallets with an ADR-licensed carrier within Poland and to other EU countries, or you collect them from our warehouse in Pabianice (Poland) by arrangement. The freight cost is part of the quote.
For business customers
We supply companies, workshops, laboratories, farms and institutions. Add your company name and VAT number to the request: the quote and the invoice are issued to your company.
Gas cylinders under pressure: store and transport them upright and secured against falling, below 50 °C, in a well-ventilated place. Inert gases displace oxygen – risk of suffocation in confined spaces.
