Description

Argon/CO2 shielding gases for MAG welding of steel, mixed to order in nine standard compositions from 98/2 to 80/20 – or in any other ratio you specify. Low-CO2 mixtures give a calm spray arc on thin sheet and stainless steel; 82/18 and 80/20 (C20) are the all-rounders for structural steel.

Need Ar/CO2 82/18 right now? Our 82/18 mix has fixed prices and can be ordered online straight away: 13.4 L cylinder Ø180 mm · 13.4 L cylinder Ø204 mm · 50 L cylinder · gas filling or cylinder exchange

Applications

Structural steel

82/18 and 80/20 (C20): stable short and spray arc with good penetration on carbon and low-alloy steel.

EN ISO 14175 M21

Thin sheet & car bodies

92/8 to 85/15: less spatter and heat input, a fine bead, well suited to pulsed welding.

EN ISO 14175 M20

Stainless steel

98/2, 97.5/2.5 and 97/3: spray and pulsed arc on stainless steel with bright, low-oxide welds.

EN ISO 14175 M12

Robotic & series welding

The same composition from fill to fill for automated lines; bundles cut cylinder changes.
