Questions before you register

Who can register?

Companies with a VAT number: restaurants and beer dispensing, aquarium shops, beverage wholesalers, workshops (argon and Ar/CO2 mix) and event technology. Intergases supplies them across the EU with CO2 and argon cylinders, filled, TÜV-tested and shipped from our facility in Łódź, Poland.

Is a business account cheaper for small orders?

Not automatically. Below 5 cylinders no volume price applies yet, and the order is charged freight where a consumer order over €95 is not: about €10.00 to €17.50 more on a delivery to Germany. From 5 cylinders the volume price more than covers the freight; below it, what you gain is the invoice without VAT and the account, not a lower total.

How is delivery charged?

Business orders pay for delivery: free delivery over €95 and free shipping on 5 or more refills are consumer offers. You pay what the parcels actually cost, worked out from our own DPD rates and shown in the cart: up to three 2 kg cylinders travel in one parcel. Trucks (from 80 cylinders), gitterbox cages and pallets are priced by email, and we confirm that freight before dispatch.

What happens after I register?

We check your VAT number live in VIES, the EU’s VAT register. If it is valid, your business account is active straight away: prices switch to net, volume prices apply in the cart, and every invoice carries your VAT number. If the register is temporarily unreachable, we create your account anyway and check your number again when you go to checkout, before you pay.

We are a Polish company

You get the business account and the volume prices. Polish VAT (23 %) stays on the invoice. EU companies outside Poland with a valid VAT number buy as an intra-Community supply, VAT 0 %, and account for the VAT in their own country.
